Constant Fan Terminal Units
Model AC
The ASX Model AC Constant Volume (Series Flow) fan terminals are designed for commercial HVAC applications that require accurate temperature control and constant airflow to the conditioned space. The internal fan runs continuous in the occupied mode. Controls modulate the damper to provide the proper amount of blending between the primary air and the warm floor plenum air. Hot water or electric heating coils may be added to provide additional heat if required. Constant Volume fan powered terminals typically serve the perimeter zones the may require heat while the interior zones demand cooling. Significant operating savings are gained through the recovery of floor plenum heat and the reduced central fan horsepower requirements.

The ASX Model AC Constant Volume (Series Flow) Low Profile Design offers the same features & benefits as the standard design. The AC is ideal in applications where restricted ceiling plenums exist.

Model AC (Quiet)
The ASX Model AC Constant Volume (Series Flow) Quiet Design is designed for noise sensitive applications such as offices, theaters, schools, and libraries. The constant volume fan runs continuously in the occupied mode, providing constant background sound to the space. The primary air damper operates in the same manner as a standard throttling unit, except that all of the primary air is sent through the inline (series) fan. Integral sound baffles and isolated motor mounting ensure low sound levels throughout the airflow range.
